Story Summary:
God had promised to give the promised land to the Israelites. For houndreds of years the people of Israel had waited for this promise to be fulfilled. Finally. God directed Joshua, the new leader of Israel, to lead the Israelites into the land of Canaan. The book of Joshua is about God's establishing His people in the promised Land.God had the plan; the people just had to obey Him.
