I found a study note folded. At the top of the Bible study it said, 'stop feeling sorry for yourself; God honors faith not self pity.' The Lord spoke to my heart and said to start this weeks word with this. We as human beings have a tendency towards this when we go through hard times. This is a prompting of the enemy. It is a very start of depression. (a seed) don't let the devil drop this seed in your mind. Refuse it. It will take root in the soil of your heart. It will die if you refuse it. If it has started to grow pluck it up with the word of faith. If your faith seems weak, stand on that. Increase your faith by the hearing of the word of God.(Romans 10:17) Plant faith by obeying God's word. To do so you need to know it. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved of God.... repent, obey. Faith will grow, mountain moving faith. Now to the main point. Ephesians 4:24- And that you put on the new man, after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25- Putting away lying, speak every man truth with hid neighbor: for we are members one of another. You don't have to always agree with your brothers and sisters in Christ but you do have to love them, pray for them, and be united in Christ. Unity means oneness, united, for the cause of Christ. We all have to be saved by Jesus's death at Calvary. Romans 10:9- That if thou wilt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10.-For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Acts 3:19-Repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.... On these basic foundations we must stand in Christ Jesus. We are united in the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12- For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many are one body.... 27- Now are we the bodies of Christ and members in particular. United we stand, divided we fail. I say fail because we fail ,to show the world the love, Christ wants us to show a lost and dying world. If they see us fighting and devouring one another, how dwells the love of God in us. Satan just sits back and laughs at us and makes his way, a way of love. Which we know is a trip to hell. God's way is eternal life in heaven, through Jesus Christ our Lord Love you all. My other half is home, and weak keep praying for him, John needs it still.
