There is a song we used to sing when we were children. Be careful little eyes what you see, then what you hear. I am going to add one verse. Be careful little mind, what you think. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Where the mind goes, the flesh follows   I would like to talk about how God loves His people. Not because they are perfect, but because they are His children. Even when we fail, He loves us. God is not a tyrant with a book , writing down every little mistake. And with a big stick ready to punish you. God is grieved when we sin, but desires us to repent and go on for Him. There is a song, He forgives and He forgets. How true that is. I was studying this morning, Matthew 24:4- And Jesus said, " take heed that no man deceive you."- This tells us that there are those who practice deception and that we must not  fall into their trap .We can know the truth and it will make us free. Jesus is the truth, and to know Him and the power of His resurrection. 2 Timothy 2:15- says to study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly knowing the word of truth. Back to Matthew 24:5- And many shall come in my Name, saying I am Christ, and deceive many.  Many false witnesses come,  saying I am Christ, ( the anointed one, follow me.) They take a little bit of truth and add false doctrine . Many are deceived and believing a lie, and will split hell wide open. I've always been taught to take something that I don't understand and put it on the shelf God will reveal the truth in His Word, and His time. BUT! You need to study  your Bible, not just read it. Find out who, what , when, where , and, why.  Run references, that is why the better Bibles have chain references and concordances. Another way to learn the truth is to go to Sunday School, There is where you get your foundation. Ask questions and then study it for yourself. Sunday School is so important. Be sure that you are in a Bible believing church. God's Word is truth. Gena
