What you wish for you must work for. We live in an instant society. Everything is right now. People used to work for things. They had a goal. Now days it is use your credit card and get what you want. Don't worry about if you can pay for it. There is always a payday coming. What we sow, we will reap. If we sow to the wind (foolishly) We will reap disaster. If we sow to the Spirit we will reap everlasting life. The missionary went overseas and preached that salvation was free. The interpreter warned him that they would not receive anything free.  So he politely stated that salvation is free, but it would cost them for the rest of their lives. There were thousands saved that night.  There are so many expecting a hand out. They expect the government to support them. I'm not talking about the seniors, disabled or mentally incompetent. I've seen people be on welfare and have a regular job on the side. When I worked for disabled people, they messed up my check. I had to go to the welfare department to get it straightened out. I was treated like a liar and a thief. There was a lady there who was getting three checks from them, at three different addresses. They treated her respectfully. I worked five days a week and they were rude to me. There are times you need help. Ephesians 4:26-28 says, "Be angry and sin not, Let not the sun go down on your wrath. Neither give place to the devil.  Let him that stole, steal no more, but let him labor, working with his own hands that he may have to give to him that needeth."  I'm not against welfare, only abusing it. There are so many that need help.  There are even more who abuse it. My sister had cancer and could not work. In order to get help she had to take two of her grandchildren to raise. She had no means of support  and probably died had she not taken the kids in. I've seen a lot of things like these. Some were necessary, some too lazy to get a job. The Bible says if you don't work you don't eat. There are retarded people working. Doing what they are able. When we were going to the streets there were many who didn't want to work. Sometimes finding a job is hard. John worked temporary services when he had to. God knows!
