Jason's Dad, Harold, had just been fired  and during the Christmas season it was next to impossible to find a job.  Jason was only 8 and didn't understand. He went to his Dad and pleaded for a bike. Harold sat  him down and explain why he couldn't buy him a bike. He said that they all had to make sacrifices to pay the bill and be able to put food on the table until he had a paycheck coming in.  Harold being a godly man and believed in prayer told Jason to pray to Jesus for his bike. The one he had was very old and almost falling apart. Jason prayed and prayed and no bike. So he got on his old bike and went past the 1st. nativity scene.  He stopped at the second and took the statue of Mary.  He went home and hid the statue and told his dad that if God wanted his wife back he's have to give him a new bike for Christmas.   Christmas means a lot of things to a lot of people.  To the majority it means gifts, feasting and parties. To others, a sad time of year; a loss of a loved one, job, divorce, incarceration, illness etc. It's like Del Ray 's song several years ago, 'I'd rather be in Mexico.'  The most forgotten reason for the season is the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. This is the most important reason to celebrate. I love Jesus and am so grateful that He was born and died to give all opportunity to go to heaven. He said in Matthew 11:28,29 Come unto me all you that are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke (way of life,) it's easy when you trust me to lead I had some bad experiences in december.2 deaths on the 26, My grand ma, and more recent my twin sister, I was the last one to see both alive. I was with Jane, my twin as sh passed from death unto life eternal. Both were saints of God. Someday I will meet them at the eastern gate in heaven.  I loved both of them very much, But I love my Jesus most of all. Most of this Christmas I spent with my Lord, a little bit of heaven to go to heaven in. I spent a few hours with family. What about U.
