Little Johnny asked one day in Sunday School class. "How do you make God laugh?"  I said, "just  tell God your Plans."  Speaking of plans, what are your plans for the new year?  So many people make a lot of resolutions each year. What about you? First thing is knowing the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior. Next, am I doing what He called me to do?  Then you have health, exercises, diet, better relations with spouse and others and countless other issues to change.  My main concern is the spiritual issues. Just making a resolution isn't enough. Hell is paved with good intentions. You need to be determined  that you are going to stick to it," whole heartedly. "Many things are difficult to do because of long years of letting things go.  Paul said that I might  know the Lord and the power of His resurrection.  Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior? The best way to start the new year is to know Jesus as your personal Savior. For those who know Jesus as their personal Savior, are we  doing what Jesus called us to do?  If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19. 3 Jn 1:2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.  This is not saying that you're not a Christian if you are not prospering. It means that  have issues. It says that the Father maketh the sun to shine on the just and the unjust and rains on the just and the unjust in Matthew 5:45. Everyone has rough times in their life. The Just, just have Jesus to help them Through it. In Deuteronomy that we all should not forget all His (the Lords) benefits. It says that you shall love the Lord your God with all you heart, Matthew 22:37. My prayer for you this New Year is "That you love God with all of you, make peace and pursue it with all people (as much as lieth within you, they may not accept it but love them in the Lord.)That you have the joy of the Lord and peace that passeth understanding. That healing and health be yours, body, mind, soul and Spirit. and  to see you in heaven Amen.
