Fellowship Hall

A young lady went to a dating service to find a perfect husband for her. The provider  took the info she gave for a  perfect mate. Kind, considerate,  whitty , knowledgeable,quiet or comforting wnen needed. The provider  put the info into the machine. A short time & a card popped out. It said, 'buy a tv.'  2 Corinthians 5:17, If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed  away; behold all things become new..Jesus paid the price for us to receive a new life in Him. To take on the nature of Christ Jesus..To give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning. the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness,.that they might be called trees of righteousness, planted of the Lord, that He might be glorified. Isaiah 61:3  It says to put you on the Lord Jesus Christ. Righteous is an ongoing process. He would not of said that we could obtane it, if it wasn't possible. I have never seen a person that is perfect in their own self.. Our righteousness is as filthy rags But we are righteous because Jesus is in us. We strive to be like Him. Stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free.& be not entangled with the world. We work on our own self, with the Holy Spirit to help us.. How can we get the beauty, if we don't get rid of the ashes, the joy, the garment of praise without the help of the comforter. We do our part &  one day, God is faithful. Genna
