Story Summary:
The serpent beguiled the woman, first with a subtil question, "hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" Then after he had the woman distracted on the question about if this tree was safe to eat from. Then the serpent flat out contradicted God by saying "Ye shall not surely die:".
