We get so busy these days that we forget that which is the most important of all; Quality time with the Lord. You may ask, 'what is holiness?  Holiness is a continuing process of growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and striving to be more like Him. We know Him and the power of His might by spending time with the Lord , in the Holy Word , In prayer, praise  and worship.  A lot of times I am able to worship the Lord  while I go through My daily chores, watering the garden etc. Prayer is on our hearts; I don't mean the give me, give me kind. Praise and worship are a part of prayer, thanksgiving is also. Even common sense tells you that we should be thankful and show our gratefulness. When I was growing up I was always taught to say thank you.  How much more should we do that to our Heavenly Father  or our King of Kings. So many people don't have a Father image while they are growing up.  My mother was the Godly image and teacher of us.  Psa 103:1  ...Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Psalms 103:2  Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Psalms 103:3  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Psalms 103:4  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;  Psalms 103:5  Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.  Read the rest of the chapter.  Verse 13 .  Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.  I desire to live in the favor of my God.  That I do my work, with peace  and fulfill my calling with strength  until He calls me.  Gena.
