Do you ever feel useless? I do sometimes. I feel like I'm not doing anything for the Lord.  But what has the Lord commanded us to do?  In Ecclesiastes 12, Solomon says all is vanity.  12:10  The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.  12:11  The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.  12:12  And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.  12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.  12:14  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.  This is every ones duty that intends to make it to heaven. This means that we need to fear ( to know God,  reverence, respect , honor, believe, love and obey) God. You may ask, 'How do I do that?' John 14:6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth  and the life, no man cometh to the Father but by me. We must accept Jesus Christ God's Son , as our personal Savior.  This is the way that we begin our road to heaven. God, as creator is sovereign.  That means that we do it the way He has prepared. That is why Jesus died on Calvary ; that we could have eternal life with God, our heavenly Father. We must love God first, our family and our  neighbors as ourselves.  Jesus said in Luke 10::27- And He answered and said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and love thy neighbor as thy self..  It is important to study God's word..Jesus said to learn of me.  How? Through His word, the Holy Bible.  James 1:22 But be ye a doer of the word and not a hearer only, deceiving your own selves. 1:27- Pure religion and undefiled  before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Let us be an extension of God's love. 1 John 4:7- Beloved let us love one another: for love is of God and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.. We can win more people with  God's love operating in our life.
