God  loved us so much that when He created man kind, that he gave us a free will. We have a choice to love Him or not & how much to do what we chose. There comes a time when we reap the reward of how we chose to live our lives. My mother would ask me if I could see anything in her life that needed fixing. She'd pray that God would turn His search light upon her life that she needed to be covered. Just as King David said in Psalms 139:23  Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:   Psa 139:24  And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.  There are clues to what is in our heart by the  things we  say & think.  Matthew 12:34  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  What we talk about & think is what is in our heart.  Do we speak doubt & unbelief, or faith. Is bitterness, hatred, or hurt coming out of our mouths? Do we speak love , peace & joy?  When we pray are we praying offensively to God because of unbelief?  Maybe we say, Lord I believe, help thou my unbelief.  Lying to man is one thing, although not good, but trying to lie to God, come on He always knows the truth. This is a good reason to ask God to send His search light on your heart. Then we know the truth.  Psalms 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. We as Christians are not perfected in ourselves yet. The only thing that makes us holy & righteous is the Christ that dwells in us. I've seen some that thought that they had no sin in them & they never sinned. This flesh is not transformed yet. If that were the case , why did John say in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins & cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   Let's keep ready for Jesus's coming.  Genna.
