 Barbara Glosson Gorman; Our hearts are sad today because the Matriarch of our family, the Rev. Marvin Gorman, our Uncle Bud, entered the Gates of Heaven last night. A remarkable Man of God, who started his preaching in a little country church called Billy Goat Ridge aka Union Grove Church to the largest church in New Orleans to preaching all over the world with his beautiful wife Virginia, known to us as Aunt Gin. Our hearts are sad but we also rejoice because Now he sees our Jesus face to face. I can only imagine the host of people there to greet him at those Gates of Pearl last night. All the ones he led to Jesus, and especially Momma & Poppa Gorman and his baby brother, Terry Gorman. What a Homecoming & Celebration going on in Heaven. I ask all my FB Family to keep his wife, Aunt Gin and his children and grands in your prayers along with my Daddy & Momma, George & Lea Gorman, Uncle Joe & Aunt Ella, Aunt Wanda & Uncle Jody, Aunt Dottie Smith & Rickey Smith & Jason.
