We sing a song, "Give Thanks," Give thanks with a grateful heart.  Give thanks to the Holy one, because He's given Jesus Christ, His son. And now let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say, I am rich, for what the Lord has done, give thanks.  We do need to give thanks at all times for what the Lord has done & what the Lord is doing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus  concerning  you. 1 Thessalonians  5:18. It is always darkest before the dawn. Boy, do i know this is true. But God is faithful. Even though I don't know, from day to day what will occur, I do know who holds tomorrow. I even read the back of the book, we win. I know it is a popular concept that if you are having troubles, seems like everything that can go wrong, does. Don't lose hope. God is still on the throne..  One of the best examples in the Bible, is Joseph.  He was left for dead, then sold into slavery, accused of indecent conduct with his masters wife. Thrown into prison for over 13 years (some say 13, some 17) I'm saying over 13.  Have you ever been accused wrongfully, or  thrown in prison for something you didn't do.  Joseph was faithful. On his way to the throne, he went through these things. Are you on your way to your destiny. The road is not always easy, but Jesus is always with you. What good does it do to ask why? If we just pray & believe, hold on to the preverbal  rope of hope It is like it says having done all to stand, stand, then it tells about the armour Ephesians the last of the 13th. says having done all, to stand. 14 begins with stand therefore. (The word therefore means, because of all this.) Because we put on the armour of God , we need to stand in faith.  Sometimes we are like the spare tire.  We are ready to be used, until we are needed. Our life should be a life of being thankful. No matter what stage of life we are at. We need to give God the glory that he gave us Jesus, Jesus sent us the Holy Ghost, Spirit to be with us & in us; to be our comforter & helper if we just let Him.   Jesus is at the Fathers side making intercession for us.   So many things we don't understand about God, but we must believe  God has given us so many proofs. He doesn't leave us when we fail & is most willing to forgive us & restore us,  if we repent. Thank God for His mercy & grace. The comfort that is so precious, & the Joy of the Lord, is more precious than gold or silver.. Like the song I quoted in the beginning of this article I say, I am strong & I am rich for what the Lord has done. & I do give thanks. Don't let the enemy pull the wool over your eyes. Jesus is the King of kings & He is there.  He honors faith, not tears.  When we believe , we give glory of what He is doing. even if we don't see it. Genna
