The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who do not believe. Jesus was the one who paid the price for our redemption by the way of the cross. It's kind of  like the old song, love and marriage, you can't have one without the other. You see so many people who wear a cross but without believing on what Jesus did on that cross, it means nothing. In 1988, I was in revival in Alabama. During the noon hour we were in prayer. I had a vision of a giant cross. I heard a voice within saying, you see that speck and pointing to that speck, the voice continued, that is you in the shadow of the cross. The next day, I dreamed again. The dream included four famous preachers and I was telling them that they were a speck in the shadow of the cross. We are all specks in the shadow of the cross. Jesus paid for salvation, healing, deliverance, peace and all else. He is our source. It is all about what Jesus did. Everyone else is just a messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:18  says that the preaching of the gospel is foolishness to them that are perishing, but to us who believe it is the power of God unto salvation. Galatians 6:14 shows us we can only boast in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He loved us so much that he paid an awful cost. He became a man, yet without sin, and paid the price for our redemption. There is an old song that comes to mind, saying, "meekly to Calvary, my Savior went, why should he love me so." How can any refuse such love as He has for us. We, as the church, many times get self centered and forget who we are. We are always saying give me. We need the Holy Ghost reviving us every day. Jesus is coming for those who are ready and looking for His return. When He splits the eastern sky will you be ready? Let us put our petty, puny, junk behind us and win the lost at any cost. If we don't, they will go to hell. We all need a prayer warrior's heart and we need to put legs on our prayers. What are you going to do?
