The cross.  what does it mean?  Many think of it as a symbol on a chain.  Jesus loved us so much that he endured the cross while despising the shame.  John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  We look to the cross as a reminder of the price Jesus paid for our salvation.  I've heard so many say they were Christians and went out and lived like the devil.  How can that be?  Jesus is the way.  Not everyone that crieth Lord.  Lord.  will enter the kingdom of heaven.  but he that doeth the will of my Father in heaven.  We.  as weak flesh.  must put our trust in Jesus to help us to overcome the weaknesses of our flesh.  I was brought up and always taught that we had to sanctify ourselves.  I tried and learned that we had to trust Jesus to help us in the areas where we are weak.  When I learned to trust Jesus.  it gave me a peace that I never had.  We must strive to enter in at the straight gate.  Jesus is the way.  He sent the Holy Spirit to help us become what He intended us to be.
