A little boy asked his Grandma how old she was. She hee-hawd around and said I don't know. He told her to look at the tag on her undies. His tag said he was 4 years old. There are so many false religions today. The enemy blinds people to the truth. We have to seek the Lord to help us not to be deceived. The word blinded in my study Bible means to withhold the light, or pull the wool over one's eyes. Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.  Paul is before King Agrippa telling about his conversion, and how he was called to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. We are to study the word, that we may be a workman that need not be ashamed before God, rightly dividing the word of truth. If we don't know the truth, we can be deceived. James 1:22  But, be ye doers of the word, and not  hearers only, deceiving your own selves.  Galatians 3:1  O Foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?  There are those who are able to manipulate people into accepting  half-truths and lies, dooming their own souls. I've seen it happen many times. We need to read and study the Word of God. We need the power and insight that the Holy Ghost gives. We must understand that Jesus is the only means of Salvation and He is the only way to heaven.
