Fellowship Hall

There is a gift for every Christian who will receive it. It will guide them, give power to them to accomplish God's will, and will help protect them. It helps them understand the bible. It is given for service. Do you know what it is? It is the gift of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Spirit). He is not for show or sham but for empowerment of the believer. He has been given to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils, to stand strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told His disciples that, because He was going away, He was asking the Father to send another comforter who would be in them. To quote J. Finis Dake, "The Holy Spirit is now the agent and executive of God in earth, to carry on the work that Jesus began both to do and teach."  Study John 14:12-17. Why would you not receive the second greatest gift a person can have? Acts 2:4 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Salvation is what is required to enter heaven but the infilling of the Holy Ghost helps our walk in the Lord. I am praying for an old fashioned, sin-killing, devil-chasing, Holy Ghost revival, like we have had in the past. I yearn to see people saved, set free from bondage, healed, and filled with the Holy Ghost. If we come together in unity in the Church and begin to pray, we will see the power of God manifested in all these areas.
