1. To induct into an office as a religious rite.
2. To make or declare sacred.
3. To devote solemnly to a purpose.
4. Ex. 32:29, Moses calls every man to consecrate themselves in order to receive a blessing from God.
5. 1Chron. 29:5, All things must be consecrated for its purpose.
6. Pr. 23:26, God requires our heart.
7. Ro. 12:1-2, Our bodies should be for his purpose.
Lord consecrate me now to your service! Use me as I give my whole heart.
